Research Interests: Analyzing the role of developing countries as active economic agents in the international system and the factors that affect their trade and investment policy-making. Victoria uses Sino-Latin American relationship as her main analytical framework.  She is also interested in the examination of growth and development patterns in developing countries, as well as the relationship between political legitimacy, economic growth, and power.
